Spatics

Spatics is the science of making physical space measurable, queryable and actionable — a new layer of the world where software, hardware, data, AI and robotics converge. We are building the infrastructure for it.

The Discipline

Eight pillars. One science.

Spatics draws from multiple fields. Some we are building now. Others we are moving toward.

01

Software

Platforms that run spaces — from sensor ingestion to intelligent response.

02

Hardware

Purpose-built sensor systems designed for persistent environmental sensing.

03

Data

Structured spatial data pipelines — raw space into actionable signal.

04

AI

Context-aware models that interpret space, behavior, and physical state.

Coming

05

Robotics

Autonomous systems that act on spatial awareness in the physical world.

Coming

06

Architecture

The geometry and structure of space as a design input.

Coming

07

Material Science

How physical materials affect spatial sensing and response.

Coming

08

Neuroinformatics

How spaces interact with human cognition and behavior.

Why Now

The infrastructure layer for space has not been built yet.

For decades, spaces have been instrumented in isolation — a sensor here, a camera there, a badge reader at the door. None of it connected. None of it intelligent. The data existed but the discipline to unify it did not.

Spatics is the answer to that gap. Not smart home. Not IoT. Not building management software. A science that treats physical space as a queryable, programmable, aware environment — the same way computer science treated computation.

We are at the beginning. Tobiira is building the foundational infrastructure — and the products — that define what comes next.

The Horizon

Where Spatics goes next.

Architecture

Space is not just sensed, it is designed. The geometry of a room affects how people move, gather, and behave. Spatics will inform how spaces are designed from the ground up.

Material Science

The materials a space is made of affect every sensing layer above it. Understanding the physical substrate is foundational to accurate spatial intelligence.

Neuroinformatics

Spaces affect cognition. Spatics will model not just physical activity but how environments shape human attention, stress, and behavior.
